The Physical Web gives people location specific information via their mobile phones. Anything on the physical web that's within a close proximity is available. For example: a coupon, a video, a song, a document or anything else a location wants to share. This content is delivered by one-way beacons that transmit it using a low-energy Bluetooth signal. A Bluetooth enabled device like your cell phone can receive the signal within an area 50-100 yards around the beacon.
